Eric Galm, Ph.D., is Professor of Music at Trinity College and Fulbright scholar. He has served as Chair of the Department of Music, and Faculty Secretary. Eric owns Galm Consulting and is also a co-founder of Rethinkhe. He has expertise in faculty engagement and new student recruitment. He has significant committee service throughout 20 years at the College, including representation on the Financial Affairs, Faculty Research, Educational Policy, Library and Information Technology, Assessment Advisory, Faculty Conference, and College Affairs.
As Department Chair and Faculty Secretary, Eric was charged with facilitating communication among faculty, administration, and the Board of Trustees. He facilitated enhanced communications throughout the institution to improve outcomes across academic and administrative functions.
He has served on the national selection committee for the Fulbright program, as President of the Northeast Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology, and Chair of the Artists Advisory Board at the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
